The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was clean and cosy. I was lucky enough to stay in the same room as I did last year. I love it and will be returning.
We only stayed one night. I am sure this is suitable for longer stays.

adequate stay with parking concerns
parking issueelectricity outage
the parking situation caused significant stress upon arrival. i arrived at 9 pm to find no available spaces. the receptionist directed me to a public car park but its overnight sunday policy was unclear. i was told parking on double yellow lines was an option but i would have to move the car before 7 am, this was inconvenient. also the electricity went off the next morning, this was a let down.

the room i had was quiet and reasonably sizeable! a plentiful supply of biscuits was available with the tea and coffee supplies. i also appreciated the free parking.
The bathroom was unusually cold. I visited in winter. there was not a phone in the room. i think having one would have aided communication with reception.

the staff were very helpful with directions to local attractions. on multiple occasions, i needed an iron, and a pair of scissors. the reception staff were polite and helpful.

i found the on-site car park a great asset (parking in this area can be tricky). the room was clean. staff were friendly and helpful.
the room i stayed in could use a bit more adequate lighting around the bathroom mirror.
